Jubilee Weekend Inside Volunteer Team Details

WEEKEND DETAILS - Please note Team Training Dates Below!
About: Plane State Jail is a women's state jail with over 1,900 inmates most of whom are serving sentences of 5 years or less.  It is located at 904 FM 686, Dayton, Texas 77535 (see map).
Dates: March 2-4 and Saturday March 10
Times: We will meet at the unit each morning at 6:30 am - we will not meet at the church.   We will finish on Friday and Saturday at approximately 7:00 pm. We will finish on Sunday at approximately 5:00 pm. The following Saturday we will meet at the Unit (not the host church!) at 8:00 am and will be finished by 2:00 pm.

TEAM TRAINING DATES - BLOCK YOUR CALENDARS!
What: Two very important team training dates for the inside team. 
Where: The Woodlands UMC at 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77380
When: February 3 and February 24 from 8:00 - 2:00 pm. 
 
Commencement: You do NOT need to sign up for commencement if you are on the Inside Volunteer Team.

Driving Directions:
From Houston: I 10 East to US Hwy. 90 East. Follow signs to Liberty and travel approx. 30 miles to Dayton, TX. In Dayton, go LEFT on Hwy. 321 North/N. Cleveland St. Travel approx. 4 miles and go LEFT on FM 686. Right in to the unit. Pass Hightower to go to entrance to Plane State Jail.
From Spring/The Woodlands: I 45 South to Hardy Toll Rd. or FM 1960. FM 1960 East to Dayton approx. 40 miles. Left on Hwy. 321 North and go approx. 4 miles. Left on FM 686. Right in to unit. Pass Hightower to go to entrance to Plane State Jail.​ 
 
TDCJ Volunteer Training is Offered at Plane State on second Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
